An important part of our engagement is the management of acute care. We offer services within the areas development and business management of hospitals, from supporting singular processes to following and supporting the full hospital management.
In the past HCC has successfully completed the following projects:
Follwing the management contract with the regional Hospital Association in Styria, KAGes, HCC restructured the processes in the Department for small surgery and developed a total plan running until 2010.
HCC moderated the process between KAGes and the Medical University Graz during negotiations over a cooperation agreement of the management of the regional university hospital in Graz.
As an out come of the process of organisational development within the University Hospital Graz a concept for restructuring was developed, suggesting the decentralisation of certain decision making processes.

Following a public tender HCC, together with a partner agency, took over the management of the public hospital in Klosterneuburg in the years 2006/07. This is a community hospital with 164 beds. The hospital admits 8.500 in-patients each year and has around 43.000 out-patients visits.
The main goal was the development and implementation of a cost reduction and efficiency improving program, as well as the development of new business fields, all while keeping a focus on the maintenance and further progression of the quality of care and service standards.
